Improper maintenance after selecting a faucet can affect its service life, which is a headache for many people. The frequency of using a faucet is high, and it is necessary to use it every day. When the air temperature is below 0 degrees Celsius, if the handle of the faucet feels abnormal, it must be heated with hot water until the feel is normal before use. Otherwise, it will affect the service life of the faucet valve core.
2. After the faucet is closed, there will be dripping phenomenon, which is caused by the presence of residual water in the faucet chamber when the faucet is opened flat, which is a normal phenomenon. If there is dripping for more than ten minutes in the long term, it is considered a leakage, indicating a quality issue with the product.
3. Due to the presence of trace amounts of carbonate in water, scale can form on the surface of the metal after evaporation, causing corrosion to the surface of the faucet and affecting its cleanliness and service life. So after using the faucet, it is necessary to frequently use a soft cotton cloth or sponge and neutral soap to scrub the surface of the faucet (note: do not use corrosive or acidic substances to scrub), and then dry the surface with a soft cloth. Avoid using metal wire balls or scouring cloths with harder particles.
4. Do not use too much force to turn on and off the faucet, simply roll it gently along the way. Even traditional faucets do not require a lot of effort to tighten. Especially, do not use the handle as a handrail to support or use it. Many people are accustomed to turning off the faucet tightly after using it, which is not advisable. Not only does it fail to prevent water leakage, but it can also cause damage to the sealing valve, resulting in the faucet not being tightly closed.
5. When the water flow decreases, impurities need to be removed. If a decrease in water output is found under a water pressure of no less than 0.02mpa, it is possible that the faucet is blocked. The solution is to gently twist the sieve cover of the water nozzle at the outlet of the faucet with a wrench, clean the impurities, and then carefully install it. Generally, you can recover as usual.
